Eligibility and Application Criteria

Admission to the Program at Seton Hall is dependent on students meeting all of the following criteria:

Students must complete the Dual Degree Program Declaration Form and inform the program liaison of their intent to apply.
Students must have attended Drew for at least two (2) complete semesters, must have completed at least 75 undergraduate credits, and must, by the end of their senior year at Drew, complete Drew’s graduation requirements in a Bachelor's degree program that requires at least 128 credits.
Students must have earned a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.00 or higher.
Students are to have completed the following courses or their equivalents as part of their Drew Bachelor’s degree: ECON 101 – Economic Principles: Microeconomics; STAT 117 – Introduction to Statistics; ACCT 215 – Fundamental of Financial Accounting; ACCT 216 – Managerial Accounting; ACCT 315 – Intermediate Accounting I; and ACCT 316 – Intermediate Accounting II.
Students must supply a letter of recommendation from at least one Drew faculty member attesting to academic ability.
Students shall be in good standing at Drew and must satisfy all Seton Hall requirements for admission, including submission of all prior university transcripts, a credential evaluation for international learners, and a current resume.

Admission to the Program at Seton Hall shall be at the sole academic discretion of Seton Hall.

Drew students may enter the Program at Seton Hall through two avenues:

Matriculating directly at Seton Hall after graduation from Drew.
Taking no more than two (2) online Seton Hall courses during their Senior year, while still attending Drew, prior to graduation. Drew will recognize up to two three-credit courses (a total of 6 credits) from Seton Hall’s Online M.S. in Accounting Program. Additional course fees apply.

Entry into the Program during the Senior Year at Drew.

Students who choose to begin their studies at Seton Hall prior to completion of the Bachelor’s degree at Drew may only do so by enrolling in the online Seton Hall accounting courses as non-degree students which will be treated as completed cross-registered courses at Drew.

Students register at Seton Hall as a non-degree student, and may take up to two three-credit (a total of 6 credits) online accounting courses.
Students download and complete the Cross-Registration Form then submit the form via the Cross-Registration Completed Form Submission to be registered at Drew.
- Registrations count towards a student's full-time status, GPA, and degree completion at Drew University. With appropriate faculty approval, these courses may also be used as elective courses in particular majors or minors.
Seton Hall will send grades at the end of the term to the Registrar's Office which will be entered on the student's Drew record.
- All students must receive at least a grade of “B” in their first two Seton Hall courses in order to continue in the program.
